Terms & Conditions

Summary

Lockdoctor Ltd supply business goods and services only subject to these terms and any person (here in after called 'The Buyer') supplied byLockdoctor Ltd (here in after called 'The Company') accept these terms will govern all contractual relations between them to the exclusion of any terms contained in any Buyer's documents even if the Buyer's terms purport to provide that the Buyer's own or some other terms prevail. 

No employees or other person acting or purporting to act on behalf of the Company is authorised to agree or effect any alteration in these terms or make or give any representation or warranty in relation to the goods or services save only that a Director of the Company may in writing agree such alterations or make or give such representations or warranties. 

Fitness for Purpose

The Company takes every care with regard to the quality and standard of manufacture of the goods it supplies as far as it is able to. However as the goods are used for a multiplicity of purposes, and the Company has no control over the method of their application or use, the Company excludes so far as it legally may do so any condition or warranty implied by statute or otherwise as to the fitness of its goods for any particular purpose. Any technical co-operation between the Company, its suppliers or the Buyer shall not affect this condition. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for any loss of profit or contracts or other consequential loss or damage on the part of the Buyer however caused. 

Pricing

The Company prices are quoted exclusive of VAT (where applicable). All prices are subject to alteration without notice and the price applicable shall be that ruling at the date of despatch.

If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price.

Delivery

The Company aims to deliver chosen items to the place and person of choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time. Hardware goods are shipped to the UK via DHL. Overseas hardware orders are shipped via DHL (unless the option is not available we use FedEx).  Minimum UK delivery and handling charge is £10. Minimum EU (ex UK) delivery and handling charge is £25. Orders oustide EU have a minimum £35 delivery charge. All software is delivered free via an email link.

Most orders will be dispatched within 3 working days subject to credit clearance, address verification and availability of items. We will contact you if there is a delay or items are out of stock.

Please also note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns Policy

The Company aims for full satisfaction of the goods and services we supply. If a Buyer is not fully satisfied with goods and services, the Company will offer a full refund.

A Buyer can cancel an order at any point prior to its shipment. Email us at info@lockdoctor.co.uk to cancel an order prior to its shipment and a full refund will be issued. Once an order has been shipped it is not possible to cancel the order.

Goods should be returned unused and in perfect condition. Returns that are damaged, soiled or used may not be accepted and may be sent back to the Buyer. Goods correctly supplied may only be returned if accompanied by the relevant invoice details. Goods returned after a period of 7 days may only be accepted with the discretion of the Director of the Company and will be subject to a handling charge of 20% of the price charged to the Buyer. Contact us by email at info@lockdoctor.co.uk within 7 days of receipt of order the Company will issue you with a Returns Number and details of where goods should be returned to.

Damage or Shortage

Goods are fully checked before they are despatched. If damage or shortage of goods is found, the buyer must notify the Company within three days of delivery. Failure to do so will free the Company from any liability in this respect. The Company seeks to repair and replace any product that is found to be faulty during the course of normal usage for which the product is intended. An investigation to all faults occurs. All relevant hardware, software and information is required to be submitted. If an attempt is made to repair a product and no manufacturing fault exists a handling charge of 15% of the price charged to the Buyer will be incurred. In the event of a fault is deemed to be misuse, the Company will be free from any liability in this respect.

Statutory Rights

All orders whether oral or written are subject to these terms but nothing in these shall be deemed to affect the statutory rights of the Buyer. 

Unfair Contract Terms

The Company has drawn these Terms of Business in the light of the Unfair Contract Terms act 1977 and the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1994 and considers them to be fair and reasonable and its prices are based on contracts made on these conditions. If the Buyer considers these terms to be unreasonable he must inform the Company in writing before any contract is made, otherwise he will be deemed to have accepted that the Company's term are fair and reasonable.

Privacy Policy


We will treat all your personal details as confidential and we will only disclose this information in the circumstances set out below. We will keep it on a secure server and we will comply with UK Data Protection legislation in relation to the use of your personal data. When you register on this Website, or make a purchase we will ask you to input and will collect personal details from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, telephone number. We may also collect, and our third party providers may collect, information about where you are on the internet (e.g. the URL you came from, IP address, domain types like .co.uk and .com), your browser type, the country and telephone area code where your computer is located, the pages of our website that were viewed during your visit, any advertisements you may have clicked on, and any search terms that you entered on our Website. We confirm that any personal details which you provide to us (or which are available on public registers) and any user information, from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

We use your information only for the following purposes:
a. maintaining your registration
b. for statistical purposes to improve this Website and its services to you
c. to serve website content to you
d. to administer this Website
e. if you consent, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you
f. if you consent, to send you information by post or email.
We will not release your personal details to any company outside of  Lockdoctor Ltd.
You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your personal details and /or user information, we are entitled do so.
